My background is theatrical, and I believe my photography comes from that place. I stage, I choreograph, I compose my images to create scenes and stories. Because I operate my own costume-building business, All-Stitch, I don't get out much. So, when I wanted to dive into photography, it had to be with mostly table-top studio shots. My figurines and fabrics and rhinestones and collected kitsch became my primary subjects, paired up with images I could capture on my rare adventures into the outside world.

My work has shown in and around Atlanta and the southeast since 2005. I am an enthusiastic member of the Atlanta Artists Center, Atlanta Photography Group, and Women in Focus. Theater is a collaborative effort, and though photography is a solitary pursuit, belonging to a community of artists is important to me.

Thanks for checking out my images - I hope you enjoy them.
